Photo gallery websites have become enormously popular with adolescents. The photo gallery websites that are used by Finnish adolescents (IRC-Galleria.net and ii2.org) feature hundreds of thousands of users. In addition to the publication of your own photographs, common activities on these sites include commenting on other people's photographs, talking with friends and getting to know new people. Posting a photo on your own gallery page can be done either directly from your own camera phone or any computer that is connected to the internet.
